Amharc ar fhreagraAs the Deputy will be aware the provision of health services in the Sligo area is, in the first instance, a matter for the North Western Health Board. A reply has been issued to the correspondence of 4 December 2003 in regard to the North West Hospice.

Amharc ar fhreagraResponsibility for the provision of health services to persons residing in Counties Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has, therefore, asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
