311 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for Health and Children if his attention has been drawn to any health board proposals to downgrade or reduce the status of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7606/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraResponsibility for the provision of services at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, rests with the North Eastern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to examine the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly. I am not aware of any health board proposals to downgrade or reduce the status of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.
