241 Ms Enright asked the Minister for Education and Science the money set aside in his Department in 2004 for site acquisition for primary and post-primary schools; the amount spent to date and the amount remaining to be spent; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8586/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraSome €32 million has been allocated for the acquisition of sites for primary and post-primary schools during 2004. The Office of Public Works manages site acquisitions on behalf of my Department and to date a total of €7 million has been transferred to the OPW account. This leaves a balance of €25 million.
