352 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason the parents of a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny are disallowed from attending with them at clinic appointments; if their desire to be present should be accepted as was the case with a previous consultant or doctor; and if he will investigate the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraResponsibility for the provision of services to people with an intellectual disability and autism is a matter, in the first instance, for the South Eastern Health Board. My Department, therefore, has asked the chief executive officer of the South Eastern Health Board to investigate the matter and reply directly to the Deputy.
