330 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs the number of posts decentralised in respect of previous decentralisation in whole or part of his Department or any agency under the aegis of his Department; the percentage of staff who were transferred on promotion; the percentage of staff who transferred at their current grade; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As the Deputy will appreciate, my Department in its present configuration was established in June 2002, while the Gaeltacht division was decentralised to Na Forbacha, County Galway, where the number of staff now employed is 46, in 1980. The detailed records sought by the Deputy are not readily available due to the passage of time and the various changes of departmental functions that have occurred since 1980.
