Amharc ar fhreagraAn application for naturalisation from the person referred to by the Deputy was received on 27 June 2003, one of over 5,700 such applications received in the citizenship section of my Department since the beginning of 2003. Applications for naturalisation take approximately 18 months to process. Consequently, it is likely that the application of the person concerned will be finalised near the end of 2004. As soon as I have reached a decision on the matter, I will inform the applicant and the Deputy of the outcome.
