288 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of public servants employed in his Department who are paid by cheque; and the number who are paid electronically; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21050/04]

I wish to inform the Deputy that there are 1,959 staff employed in my Department of whom 108 are paid by cheque and 1,851 are paid electronically.
