356 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Social and Family Affairs the rent allowance payable to a person (details supplied) in County Kildare who has special needs; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [21192/04]

As advised in my reply to the Deputy's previous parliamentary question, which I answered on 1 July 2004, the amount of rent supplement payable in this case has been revised to €497 per month with effect from the end of July.
