298 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Finance when construction is expected to begin on the new Ballymun Garda station; when it will be a district or regional headquarters; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21943/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe proposed Gardastation facility at Ballymun has been designated as a divisional headquarters. At present, OPW is finalising the purchase of the proposed development site for the station from Ballymun Regeneration Ltd. In tandem with completion of the site purchase, OPW will be in a position to lodge a planning application in respect of the proposed facility.
