704 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources if mechanisms exist to ensure that interview boards established under the auspices of his Department and which comprise of two or more persons are gender balanced; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraIt is the policy of my Department, in line with its HR strategy, to ensure that interview boards for departmental competitions are gender balanced. Under the established procedures, departmental interview boards comprise three people, including an external member who usually acts as chairperson and with at least one member of the board being female.
