724 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism if mechanisms exist to ensure that interview boards established under the auspices of his Department and which comprise of two or more persons are gender balanced; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22364/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe commitment to the development and implementation of measures to support equality of opportunity in the recruitment and promotion of staff is one of the principles set out in my Department's human resources strategy. Accordingly it is established practice to ensure that interview boards established under the aegis of my Department are gender balanced.
