760 Mr. O’Dowd asked the Minister for Health and Children the action he intends to take regarding the open sale in Drogheda of the Mexican herb Salvia Divivorum, which is currently banned in Australia, Finland and Denmark as reported in a newspaper (details supplied). [21455/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Irish Medicines Board is the statutory body responsible for the regulation of medicinal products in Ireland. I understand that the allegations made in the newspaper report referred to by the Deputy are currently being investigated by the board. I have asked the board to inform me of the outcome of its investigation in due course.
