917 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will provide funding to the Western Health Board to provide respite services for children with a sensory disability in south Roscommon; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22309/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe provision of health services, including funding for residential care, to people with a physical and/or sensory disability is a matter for the Eastern Regional Health Authority and the health boards in the first instance. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the chief executive officer of the Western Health Board with a request that she examine the matter raised and reply directly to him, as a matter of urgency.
