936 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will provide the necessary funding for the provision of additional staff to operate the additional beds provided to the dialysis unit at Waterford Regional Hospital; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22512/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe South Eastern Health Board has informed my Department that it has completed work to extend the existing dialysis unit at Waterford Regional Hospital. The board has made a submission to my Department requesting revenue funding to employ the additional staff required. Funding for these posts will be considered in the context of the resources made available to my Department for 2005.
