1067 Mr. F. McGrath asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will urgently review the refusal of persons (details supplied) under section 18 of the Refugee Act 1996 and to show compassion and understanding to their plight and grant visas; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The application for family reunification by the refugee concerned was refused in June 2004. An appeal against this decision was subsequently lodged. Further documentation has been requested from the applicant and a decision on the appeal will be taken on receipt of this documentation.
