1075 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the reason a person (details supplied) in County Cavan has not had a reply to a request for extension of their stay here in view of the fact that this person has achieved the necessary standards; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The immigration division of my Department has recently been in correspondence with the person concerned requesting documentation in support of his application for residency. On receipt of this documentation a decision will be made on the case.
