448 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government if funding will be approved for the upgrading of the west Roscommon water supply scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23405/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe west Roscommon regional water supply scheme, including north Roscommon, Castlerea and Ballinlough, is included in my Department's water services investment programme 2004-06 to advance through planning. I understand that Roscommon County Council is preparing a brief for the appointment of consultants to produce a preliminary report for the scheme. The submission of this brief to my Department is awaited.
