271 Mr. Gormley asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will respond to the points raised by the Coalition Against the Deportation of Irish Children in a letter dated 8 July 2004; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23640/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraA reply to the letter from the Coalition Against the Deportation of Irish Children referred to by the Deputy has issued. In addition to responding to the points raised, the offer of a meeting with senior officials of my Department dealing with the issue was made. Arrangements have now been made for a meeting in the near future.
