39 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the geographical breakdown by region of the grant aid awarded by the State to overseas firms in 2003; if the pattern will continue into 2004; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23603/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraIDA Ireland is the agency with statutory responsibility for the attraction of foreign direct investment to Ireland, including its regions and areas. The following table provides a geographical breakdown by region of grant aid paid by the agency to overseas firms in 2003. IDA Ireland anticipates a broadly similar grant payment outcome in 2004.
