Amharc ar fhreagraThe Castletownbere sewerage scheme has been approved for funding in my Department's water services investment programme 2004-06 under the rural towns and villages initiative, at an estimated cost of €4.95 million. Further progress with the scheme is contingent on the outcome of ongoing discussions between Cork County Council and the Department of Communications, Marine and Natural Resources to determine the most appropriate location for the wastewater treatment plant.
