Dublin City Council, which is the fire authority for South Dublin, is currently finalising the acquisition of additional land attached to the fire station at Belgard Road. This land would be used for the upgrading and extension of the fire station. When the land acquisition has been finalised and plans have been prepared, a submission will be made to my Department for funding for the project.
