Ryan asked the Minister for Education and Science her role in the establishment of the proposed new body to attract overseas students to study here; her views on the proposal to examine ways to increase the number of students in secondary schools; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe Government has approved the publication of the report of the interdepartmental working group on the internationalisation of Irish education services and the necessary arrangements for this are being put in place by my Department as a matter of urgency. The Minister for Education and Science is responsible for implementing the recommendations in the report. It would be inappropriate for me to comment on or discuss the various recommendations in the report until it is published.
