Amharc ar fhreagraI can confirm that an application for special needs assistant support, SNA, for the pupil in question was considered by my Department. The school authorities were informed in a letter dated 26 August 2004 that the pupil did not meet the criteria for such support under the relevant Department circulars. Additional supporting documentation was submitted to my Department recently. The application will be reconsidered in the context of this additional information and in light of the existing level of SNA support available in the school.
