84 Mr. Boyle asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children when she expects to see the publication of the report on complementary and alternative medicine; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [26349/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs the Deputy may be aware, a national working group was established in 2003 to advise on future measures for strengthening the regulatory environment for complementary therapists in line with action 106 of the health strategy. The group held its first meeting in May 2003 and is continuing to meet on a regular basis. My Department has been advised by the chair of the working group that the report of the group will be completed before the end of next year.
