85 Mr. J. O’Keeffe asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government when he hopes to implement the energy performance of buildings directive; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27567/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraAn action plan to implement the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive-EPBD (2002/91/EC), according to a proposed timetable, is being developed by a working group, comprising senior officials drawn from my Department, the Department of Communications, Marine and Natural Resources and Sustainable Energy Ireland. I expect to receive the draft action plan within the next month or so. It will be appropriate to consider the implementation timescale for the action plan on its receipt from the working group.
