435 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government if he will give a policy direction under section 60 of the Waste Management Act to the EPA and Wicklow County Council to have the illegal waste dumped at a site (details supplied) in County Wicklow removed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraAs indicated previously, it is my intention to issue a policy direction under section 60 of the Waste Management Act to assist local authorities and the Environmental Protection Agency in dealing with the consequences of illegal waste activity. My Department is currently formulating such a direction in consultation with the EPA with a view to completing it early in 2005.
