311 Mr. Eamon Ryan asked the Minister for Transport the amount his Department paid in 2004 for car mileage expenses; the amount paid to cover rail and bus ticket expenses; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8593/05]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Department of Transport paid out €682,000 approximately in car mileage expenses in 2004, of which approximately €503,000 relates to driver testing costs. A further €4,350 approximately was paid to cover rail or bus ticket expenses within the Department in 2004.
