716 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform further to Parliamentary Question No. 147 of 24 March 2005, the results of his Department’s investigation into the death of a resident in the premises referred to; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10552/05]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe incident referred to by the Deputy occurred on 4 March 2005 in a premises owned by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and managed by the de Paul Trust. The said premises provides transitional accommodation for women leaving prison who would otherwise be homeless. The project is funded by my Department through the probation and welfare service. The emergency services and the Garda were alerted on the day of the incident. I am further advised that a coroner's inquest will be held later this year.
