302 Mr. Gormley asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, further to Parliamentary Question No. 301 of 5 October 2005, the precise terms of reference for the investigation by the chief superintendent; when this investigation will be completed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraI have been informed by the Garda authorities that the terms of reference for investigation by the chief superintendent in this case were to conduct a fact finding investigation into allegations made by a complainant against gardaí in Ashbourne station. While it is not possible for me to say when it will be completed, I am anxious that the investigation will proceed as quickly as possible and that everyone with information should co-operate fully with the investigation.
