534 Deputy Pat Breen asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the position in relation to the proposed guidelines on the designation of public safety zones at the State airports; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18507/08]
Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department is finalising draft planning guidelines on public safety zones around Dublin, Cork and Shannon Airports. It is intended shortly to issue the draft guidelines for public consultation under the Planning and Development Act 2000. All comments received during the consultation process will be considered before the guidelines are finalised and issued.
