248 Deputy Thomas P. Broughan asked the Minister for Transport the estimated completion and opening dates for the extension of the Green Luas line from Sandyford to Cherrywood, County Dublin; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6974/09]
Amharc ar fhreagraIn May of last year the Railway Procurement Agency (RPA) announced the commencement of the main track-laying contract for the extension of the Luas Green Line from Sandyford to Cherrywood. I understand from the RPA that good progress is being made on the construction of this extension which is scheduled to be completed and operational by end 2010.
