481 Deputy Arthur Morgan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food the number of posts unfilled in his Department because of the embargo on recruitment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10283/10]
Amharc ar fhreagraSome 380 staff have left my Department due to normal retirement, ISER or other reasons since the introduction of the moratorium on recruitment and promotions in the Public Service. My Department continually reviews its functions and resources in the light of changing needs and is currently examining the extent to which vacancies arising out of these departures necessitate filling.
