Amharc ar fhreagraThe Employment Appeals Tribunal is an independent, quasi-judicial body under the aegis of my Department, and, as such, I have no role in its day-to-day operation. I am informed that a claim has been lodged with the Employment Appeals Tribunal and that the Hearing of this case has been adjourned. It is now a matter for the claimant to pursue the options that are open to him. I am not aware that, at this stage in the proceedings, there exists any basis on which my Department or any of the bodies Offices or Agencies under its aegis can pursue the claim on behalf of the claimant.
