456 Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the amount of money and the value of assets that have been seized by the Criminal Assets Bureau in the Limerick Garda division annually; and the amount that this has returned to the Exchequer annually since its inception. I am informed by the Criminal Assets Bureau that they do not collate such information in the format requested by the Deputy. The gathering and compilation of the information as requested would require a disproportionate and inordinate amount of staff time and effort and could not be justified in current circumstances where there are other significant demands on resources.
