775 Deputy Phil Hogan asked the Minister for Education and Science when finance will be allocated for the provision of permanent accommodation in respect of a school (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12948/10]
Amharc ar fhreagraDue to industrial action on the part of some staff in the Department of Education and Science, I am not in a position to give the full details sought by the Deputy. However, applications from schools for additional accommodation are currently being assessed. Schools will be notified of the outcome of their applications in due course. In addition, all applications received under the Summer Works Scheme for 2010 are also being assessed. Consistent with the timetable table published with the Scheme, it is my intention to announce a list of successful applicants later this month.
