411 Deputy Paul Connaughton asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Education and Skills the stage of the new building for a school (details supplied) in County Galway; if the funding is committed for this school; when construction will commence; the expected completion date; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe school to which the Deputy refers was one of a number of projects announced on the 16th February last to commence architectural planning in 2010.
A tender competition is currently under way for the appointment of a Project Manager/Design Team. When this competition is completed it is expected that planning permission will be lodged soon thereafter.
