142 Deputy John O’Mahony asked the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive their payment under REP scheme four; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18621/10]
Amharc ar fhreagraREPS 4 is a measure under the current Rural Development Programme 2007–13 and is subject to EU Regulations which require detailed administrative checks on all applications to be completed before the first payments issue. Queries arose on the application from the person named and my officials requested that an amended plan be submitted. This plan was received on 12 April 2010 and my officials are currently carrying out the necessary administrative checks. If the amended plan is in order, payment will issue promptly once these checks have been completed.
