150 Deputy Pádraic McCormack asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Education and Skills the position regarding the provision of a new Gaelscoil for a school (details supplied) in County Galway in view of the fact that they have been waiting 15 years for accommodation; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe school to which the Deputy refers was one of a number of projects announced on the 16th February last to commence architectural planning in 2010.
A tender competition is currently underway for the appointment of a Project Manager\Design Team. When this competition is completed it is expected that planning permission will be lodged soon thereafter.
