54 Deputy Joanna Tuffy asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the position regarding his policy on the planned incinerator at Poolbeg and the report he commissioned on the costs associated with the incinerator; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I refer to the reply to Question No. 62 of 19 October 2010.

Regarding the authorised officer appointed pursuant to section 224 of the Local Government Act 2001, I can confirm that his report has been submitted to me and I am considering its findings, in consultation with the Attorney General.
