Amharc ar fhreagraSimilar to many roads throughout the country, the recent extreme weather has taken a further heavy toll on the main road in the Phoenix Park with an increase in the number of potholes in the road surface. Since the holidays, seven tonnes of filler has been used to repair potholes on an emergency basis. The OPW has been examining options for a permanent solution to this problem. A number of surveys critical to the finalisation of the options were recently undertaken. The timing and scope of the works will necessarily be affected by the level of funding available.
