290 Deputy Brian Hayes asked the Minister for Justice and Law Reform when he will publish the legal cost reform Bill which was promised last summer; if he will set out the major elements in the proposed Bill; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3353/11]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Legal Costs Bill will provide for regulation and assessment of legal costs and for the establishment of a Regulator to replace the Office of Taxing Master. The details of my proposals will be published as soon as possible this year in line with a commitment in the EU-IMF Programme of Financial Support for Ireland.
