131 Deputy Michael McGrath asked the Minister for Education and Skills the names and salaries of every special adviser appointed by every Cabinet member and Minister of State since the new Government came to office on 9 March 2011; and if he will give the same details for any other advisers appointed. Since I was appointed as Minister for Education and Skills on 9 March 2011, I have appointed two special advisers as follows: Mr. John Walshe, Special Adviser on a salary €92,672 per annum and Ms. Deirdre Grant, Director of Communications (Special Adviser) on a salary €86,604 per annum.
