Ceist:

135 Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht further to Parliamentary Question Nos. 192 and 198 of 18 January 2012 and No. 402 of 31 January 2012, if he will engage with the National Parks and Wildlife Service to expedite the setting of conservation objectives in respect of Valentia Harbour, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As indicated in my reply to questions in January, my Department is working with the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, and the Marine Institute, in the programme of work enabling assessment of licensing applications for aquaculture in Natura sites. My Department is proceeding according to this programme and will publish conservation objectives for Valentia as soon as possible.
