261 Deputy Billy Kelleher asked the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources the names, grade and cost of staff who have been rehired following retirement in his Department and State agencies under his remit; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22885/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraSince its formation in 2007, my Department has re-employed two former members of staff. One was a Principal Geologist who was re-employed during 2008, 2009 and 2010 at a total cost of €104,467. The other was a Petroleum Exploration Specialist who was re-employed for a short period in 2012. The cost of this service is not yet available but it will not be significant.
