192 Deputy Thomas P. Broughan asked the Minister for Health when a decision will be made on the site of the proposed new National Children’s Hospital; if detailed proposals have been made for the former Belcamp College lands in Dublin 17; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24474/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraI established an independent Review Group to consider the implications of the decision of An Bord Pleanála received on 23 February 2012 to reject the planning application for the proposed construction of a national paediatric hospital on the site of the Mater Misericordiae Hospital. The Review Group will, as part of its review, consider all issues relevant to the location of the new children's hospital. I will await the completion of the Group's work and do not wish to make any further comment on the matter at this time.
