Ceist:

26 Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Health the extent to which it has been possible to put in place structures whereby the requisite number of junior hospital doctors become available to hospitals throughout the country on graduation from medical school having particular regard to the dual need of the health service and the need for medical graduates to obtain first hand experience in an environment with which they are familiar; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
