432 Deputy Robert Troy asked the Minister for Social Protection the reason for the delay issuing payment with regard to appeals applications where the appeal has been granted as in the case of a person (details supplied). [25482/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraFollowing the successful outcome of her appeal, the person concerned has been awarded carer's allowance with effect from 6 January 2012. Arrangements are being made to put her carer's allowance into payment at half rate as soon as possible as the person in question is already in receipt of one parent family payment.
