93 Deputy Patrick Nulty asked the Minister for Social Protection if she will expedite an application for carer’s allowance in respect of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 15; the reason for the delay; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [27670/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person concerned was refused carer's allowance on the grounds that the care recipient is under 16 years of age and not in receipt of domiciliary care allowance as required under the governing legislation. On 15 May 2012, she was notified of this decision, the reason for it and of her right of review/appeal within 21 days.
