Ceist:569 Deputy Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin asked the Minister for Health when the new dialysis unit at Mayo General Hospital will be fully operational; the reasons for the delay to date in opening the unit; the number of dialysis patients from County Mayo that are currently attending hospitals in County Galway for dialysis; the number that are being accommodated in Mayo General Hospital; if an evening shift has been introduced as an interim measure in the renal dialysis unit in Mayo General Hospital; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
