211 Deputy Patrick Nulty asked the Minister for Education and Skills if immediate action will be taken to address the presence of pyrite in a primary school (details supplied) in Dublin 15; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28983/12]
Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department is working closely with the school to which the Deputy refers. Where interim remedial works were deemed necessary, these have been undertaken. My officials are in the process of engaging consultants to scope the extent of the remedial works necessary to eradicate the pyrite issue and will then be arranging for the necessary remedial works to be undertaken.
